A really simple but nice 1 bit pixel art style game.

I really liked the 1 bit style and design of the monsters but the character kinda got lost sometimes when near other objects and it was hard to see where they were. I wish there was some sort of explanation for the compass at the top because I thought it was a timer at first and was so confused why it was pointing all over the place. It wasn't literally right before I returned to the original room with the potion that I realised it was pointing towards my objective.

The audio was retro and chiptune like and the SFX were nice and crunchy, very 1-bit retro game feel that I thought fit quite well.

I didn't see the point of using the sword at all to be honest as the bow just carried me through the game without any issues. I wish there was an explanation that there was wall jumping, it seems weird that the instructions in the first 2 rooms are so clear but then totally forget to mention the compass or the wall jumping. Still I got through the game fine.

I thought the level design was nice and falling back to the location of the 1st potion after getting the 2nd was nice. Although I think it might have been longer? Haha. Maybe that was your intention.

Overall a fun little experience and a nice little game :)

Wow! The music, artstyle and gameplay were just amazing!

It just throws me back to the good times on the old handhelds
It just felt so smooth and good.
I liked both weapons. I constantly switched between them. Both felt really well!

Also the transition from the rooms felt so nice and smooth. Loved it!
I am really excited how you guys are going further with this ^.^

I had a lot of fun! Thanks made my day! ^.^

Solid platforming. I quite liked the combat too!

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the platforming.

This was really fun! I loved the monochromatic choice and the pixel art reminds me a lot of classic Mega-Man. The soundtrack is fire!

Thank you for playing! I wanted to draw the art in 1-bit so that I would have more practice. Drawing and animating the player was a particularly fun challenge. When the composer was making the soundtrack, he wanted it to match the limitations of the game boy advance.

This was a fun game! I do think that the balance between the sword and the bow wasn't great, however, as the bow felt overpowered, but the sword made me feel pretty defenseless. I think maybe altering how the arrow traveled or something like that could've been a good fix. The art is amazing , and the composer did a fantastic job with the music! Great work (:

Thank you for playing! I thought the dagger wasn't as good as the bow too, but my friends who tested it thought the dagger was fine, so I left it mostly the same. If I were able to fix it right now, I would make it do more damage or give it a faster hit rate. Thanks for complimenting the music, he always does a fine job.

Fun! A challenge in my boomer opinion- but the gameplay is smooth

Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you found the gameplay smooth. I'll take your feedback into consideration. Have fun!
